Patrick Chance Memorial — Gold Bows on Saturday

Dear friends,

As many of you may know, we lost a true warrior, friend and neighbor, Patrick Chance, yesterday. He became an angel on his ninth birthday, after six years of battling cancer. Many of us in the neighborhood and community have shared this journey with the Chances in many different ways. Regardless of the depth of your knowledge or involvement, we are all feeling the loss. Saturday afternoon is Patrick’s memorial service at the Glenn Church. We’d like to invite everyone in the community, and especially those in the Druid Hills neighborhood where the Chances live, to place a gold bow on a tree in your yard or mailbox on Saturday morning, as a show of community support and respect for the valiant, brave battle that Patrick fought, and for the love we have for this family. Thank you for your participation, love, support and prayers during this difficult time.
