Chelsea Heights Character Area and Guidelines

In order to combat unwanted development in the Chelsea Heights neighborhood which we felt was inconsistent to the area, the DHCA and residents of Chelsea Heights retained Dale Jaeger, the author of the original Druid Hill Character Area and Guidelines, to prepare a separate character area and guidelines for Chelsea Heights. These Guidelines have been revised and a copy of the revised Chelsea Heights Character Area and Guidelines is attached (below). Please review them.

During 2008 the Guidelines were revised several times with input of the neighborhood and are now ready for adoption by the Dekalb County Historic Preservation Commission.
